The SBA has released its first draft of the PPP Loan Forgiveness Application.  However, a bill is currently going through the legislative floor to update the PPP Loan Forgiveness Process.  This includes a possibility of extending the PPP Loan Forgiveness Period from 8 weeks to either 16 or 24 weeks.

Economic Impact Payments may now be delivered as prepaid debit cards.  You can check your status by visiting the IRS COVID-19 website above.

President Donald Trump signed the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act that includes a $2 trillion aid package, which is designed to help the economy while dealing with the Coronavirus pandemic.

 

 

March 21, 2020

The IRS & NYS have extended its filing deadline for Individual & Corporate Tax Returns from April 15, 2020 to July 15, 2020.  This also includes any tax payments associated with the filing of these returns.  

The 1st Estimated Tax Payment has been moved to July 15 as well.

As of March 20, 2020, our office is no longer hosting in-person client meetings.  All meetings going forward will be done via telephone or video conference.
